Womble's Foot Care offers MOBILE nail services for seniors and adults tailored to individuals with transportation and mobility issues.
Foot health is often overlooked, and lack of care can lead to infection, pain, and limb loss, affecting the quality of life. Like a traveling podiatrist, our registered nurses, certified foot care nurses, and nurse practitioner are experts in managing senior foot care needs. If we cannot address your in-home foot care service needs, we can direct you to a local podiatrist.

Morgan Womble

Hi! I'm Dr. Morgan Womble. I've been a nurse for 15 years and feel lucky to have trained under some of the best wound and foot care specialists in the nation! I am tri-certified as a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse (CWOCN) and a Certified Foot Care Specialist (CFCS). I am a Chapel Hill native, but my schooling has taken me all over the state. My most recent accomplishment is completing my Doctor in Nursing Practice degree from East Carolina University. I’ve worked for a large academic medical center for most of my career and am happy to bring my experiences to your doorstep. In my spare time, I like gardening, hiking, cooking, and spending time with my husband and our beloved dog.

Hi, I’m Sophie Furlong! I have been working in healthcare for over 16 years, starting as an EMT and then transitioning to nursing. In my career as a nurse, I have worked in many different settings, from the operating room to hospice to nurse education. Regardless of setting, I have always craved one thing: connection. In nursing, I find that supporting patients through evidence-based education and practices in an intimate, one-on-one setting is my passion. This inspired me to acquire my wound, ostomy, continence certification and with that, begin practicing foot care. Currently, I am working part-time in order to spend as much time as possible with my 2-year-old son. Together with my husband, we love playing outdoors and traveling.

Hi! I am Lilo Wilson, a registered nurse certified in wound, ostomy and foot care (CWON, CFCN) and I have 3 years of experience doing wound, ostomy and foot care in an acute care setting. I began my career working as a home health nurse aid caring for patients with dementia, dementia or with palliative needs, and I have 10 years of total experience between home health, hospice, and acute care. I was born and raised in Colombia, South America, and I have been living in the US for 13 years. I am married and live with my mom and my two amazing dogs, Penny and Lambda, whom I will be showing you pictures of.

Hi, I’m Karah Alexis. I have been in healthcare for 26 years as CNA, massage therapist, and a RN. I began as a nursing assistant in a variety of settings in the Pacific Northwest. I moved to North Carolina; became a RN and have worked primarily in med- surg, geriatrics, and now hospice. I love being a certified foot care nurse and spending one on one time time with our clients- maximizing their health through their feet. My husband and I are happy at home taking care of our garden and flock of chickens. We also enjoy having the mountains in one direction and the beach in the other.

Hi, I’m Paige Dawdy! I started my healthcare career working in spinal cord injury rehab and have worked in multiple inpatient and outpatient settings. My passion for wound care led me to pursue my WOCN certification and introduced me to foot care. I enjoy providing evidence based care and education to my patients. My husband and I enjoy going to concerts, traveling and spending time with our two cats Suki and Sadie.

Hi, I’m Lily, and I can’t wait to give your feet some TLC! I’ve been in the nursing field 9 years, spent my formative career as a med-surg nurse, and have been working as a wound, ostomy, and continence nurse (WOCN) for the past 5 years. I went back for my foot care certification (CFCN) close to two years ago, and haven’t looked back! When I am not working, you might find me fulfilling my childhood dream of riding lessons, soaking up sun in the garden, drinking tea and eating sweet treats, hiking, or spending time with my husband and our small menagerie of 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 8 chickens - all of whose nail care I also manage:)

Hi! My name is Tara Womble. I've been a registered nurse for 13 years. I spent much of my career working alongside the vascular and podiatry providers in the area, working as a clinic nurse. I've also had roles as a school nurse and in home health nursing. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, and tending to our farm animals.
